La Mai Thai Kitchen is a very busy restaurant in Edgewater, Colorado that is committed to providing delicious, authentic Thai food to the community. Our restaurant provides every visitor with not only mouthwatering dishes but also a friendly and soothing environment. In order to remain successful, we need a manager who is knowledgeable about Thai food to help oversee our kitchen, deal with customer relations, make decisions regarding the marketing and development of the business and handle day-to-day operations.

Specifically, our Thai Restaurant Manager will have the following responsibilities:

Hires/fires employees, implements employee training and policies, and generally handles all aspects of employment matters including interviewing new applicants, and developing employment policy; Develops the kitchen management plan and dining room management plan in order to maintain safety and security of employees, customers and Company's properties; Develops new menu items by applying in-depth knowledge and understanding of Thai cuisine; Oversees food preparation, checking the quality and size of the servings;

Coordinates and trains the wait and kitchen staff;

Answers questions regarding the food and service as well as resolving complaints from customers; Maximizing sales by implementing new marketing and development plans;

Creates inventory control procedures including keeping records of purchases and paying suppliers for profit maximization; and Keeps up with all legal requirements to make sure the company follows regulations and law regarding food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements.
