Bethesda Mission is seeking a compassionate, Christ-centered professional to serve as a Counselor/Case Manager at our Women's Shelter. This role combines daily oversight of shelter operations with direct counseling and spiritual support for women and children experiencing crisis.

Responsibilities

Provide biblical counseling, crisis intervention, and group support for women and children.

Facilitate recovery programs, life-skills classes, and Bible teaching.

Manage guest cases: advocacy, referrals, and connecting to community resources.

Supervise evening shelter operations, recovery activities, and alumni programs.

Drive guests to appointments as needed (valid license required).

Qualifications

Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Bethesda Mission's Statement of Faith.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field (Certificate in Addiction Studies preferred).

Minimum two years' counseling experience with women and children in crisis preferred.

Knowledge of addiction recovery, case management, and Christian counseling practices.

Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.

Flexible schedule: must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
