von Herrmann Law Firm is currently hiring a professional experienced family court paralegal. This person must have a good work ethic, works well with other members of the team, self directed and drama free lifestyle. The right candidate has the potential to increase in salary and receive bonuses and must have family law experience.

The firm is open 36 hours a week Monday - Thursday 8:30-5:00 and Friday 8:30 -2:00 Rarely do we work over that time period however if our clients need us occasionally it may happen.

We are a client focused firm and we maintain good communications with each of them. In our office the team works together to make sure each clients outcome is the best we can get for them. Their case raises unique issues that need to be worked through and we are their to help

The person must be detailed and organized .

The team is a close group of people that rely on each other and support one another in everything we are called on to do for our clients.

We have recently had a key member of the team retire and while she left big shoes to fill, we know the right candidate is ready to join.

Responsibilities

Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and pleadings.

Manage case files and maintain organized documentation using document management systems.

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by gathering necessary information.

Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email while maintaining professionalism.

Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the firm.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Family Law Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.

Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools.

Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.

Familiarity with document management systems such as Clio is advantageous.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.

A degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
