This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently while providing excellent work and must have own tools.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.

Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, including brake repair and electrical systems.

Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs and diagnostics.

Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.

Maintain accurate records of service performed on vehicles.

Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and necessary repairs.

Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Skills

Proficient in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance techniques.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including soldering skills.

Experience in operating heavy equipment safely and effectively.

Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.

Familiarity with brake repair processes and techniques.

Ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently.

Previous experience in a dealership setting is a plus.
