Summary:

The General Laborer assists in running the laminator by following processes and procedures that are set and by complying with safety guidelines and practices. As a general laborer this person will maintain organization and tidiness throughout their shift.

Responsibilities:

Know all safety devices on machine(s)

Assist in performing daily safety checks

Lifting, opening, and completing repackaging process of fiberglass insulation rolls that may include maneuvering materials that weigh 100 lbs.

Assists with running the laminator machine by opening up insulation and following the guidelines and processes put into practice by the Plant Supervisor and Plant Manager.

Assists in unloading and loading of trucks.

Maintains order and tidiness in their production area during their shift including closing cleaning activities

Performs forklift operations as needed and in compliance with the Forklift training and safety guidelines.

Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment is helpful.

Job Knowledge:

Forklift Certification the ability to obtain company certification.
