Bath Local Schools Athletic Department is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to support the health and safety of our grade 7-12 student athletes. The athletic trainer will work with coaches, school staff, and healthcare professionals to prevent, evaluate, and treat sports-related injuries while promoting safe athletic participation. This is a full-time position, beginning August 1^st^, with 212 working days in a school year.

Key Responsibilities

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Provide on-site injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment for student-athletes

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Attend athletic practices and home sporting events as assigned

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Develop and implement rehabilitation and injury recovery program

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintain accurate injury reports and treatment documentation

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Educate athletes and coaches on injury prevention, conditioning, and safe training practices

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Assist with emergency care and concussion management protocols

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ensure athletic training room and equipment are properly maintained
