Objectives of this Role:

Maximize operational efficiency and productivity through process improvements and interdepartmental collaboration. Collaborate with senior managers to develop performance goals and long-term operational plans. Analyze operational processes and performance, recommending and implementing improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and permit requirements. Oversee daily basecamp activities, ensuring smooth operations, cost efficiency, and resource optimization. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maximize profits. Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, including capacity management and occupancy rate tracking. Team Leadership & Management:

Collaborate with and support department managers and teams, ensuring accountability. Ensure that daily tour management and operations are completed efficiently. Establish performance goals, monitor driver profiles, and provide feedback and coaching to guides Foster a positive work culture and encourage employee engagement. Optimize resource allocation for tours, guide training, and vehicle-related logistics. Guide & Tour Support:

Lead all aspects of training tour guides and operational employees, in collaboration with Human Resources Assist in hiring of operations and guide staff. Lead a team of up to 20 guides, 5 vehicle detailers, and other operational support staff. Manage permits, including the application process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee scheduling of guides to ensure proper coverage for all tours. Manage daily tour closeouts and consolidations and ensure communication with CS and Guides Monitor local events and weather conditions to anticipate and mitigate disruptions to tours. Ensure all tours are properly equipped with provisions and necessary equipment. Serve as a company ambassador by fostering strong relationships with partner retailers, restaurants, and breweries. Administrative, Inventory & Compliance Duties:

Conduct cost reporting, budgeting, and cost projections to maintain financial efficiency. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, including fleet providers and key partners like Sprouts. Track and analyze key performance metrics to ensure timely and efficient task completion. Suggest and implement strategies for business growth and continuous operational improvements. Work closely with Human Resources to cultivate a trusting, inclusive, and productive work environment. Oversee inventory management, ensuring availability and efficient use of resources. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to tours, vehicles, and permits. Fleet Management & Maintenance:

Manage fleet of company-owned and rental vehicles, including cleaning, maintenance, and optimizing availability for tours. Ensure vehicle compliance, including maintenance, insurance, and registration. Oversee vehicle intake and drop-off processes. Help maintain vehicle binders and ensure all documentation is up to date. Source rental vehicles based on business needs. Strengthen vendor relationships related to fleet services and maintenance. Operational Efficiency & Financial Oversight:

Monitor occupancy rate to optimize tour operations and maximize revenue. Ensure proper reconciliation and accuracy in financial reporting. Implement cost-efficient strategies to optimize basecamp operations. Provide weekly reports to management detailing key operational insights and performance trends.

This role is critical to the success of our operations, requiring a proactive and results-driven approach to ensure seamless logistics, efficient resource allocation, and exceptional customer experiences.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
