JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Finance Director, assists with fiscal, budgetary, purchasing and related operations of the Agency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred; two (2) years of progressively responsible accounting/finance experience including experience with computer applications involving the development and management of advanced spreadsheet and database programs; or any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: For purposes of 42 USC 12101:

20% 1. Performs fiscal, budgetary, purchasing and related duties (e.g., prepares reports using applicable computer program [SACWIS, CFIS, New World, Access, Excel, Traverse etc.], assists with bookkeeping of Agency receipts and expenditures, reviews documentation for accuracy [e.g., payment vouchers, legal documents, etc.]

45% 2. Assists with statistical reporting and data management; enters data into applicable computer program; ensures all data is accurately entered and, where appropriate, interfaces between applicable computer systems to ensure accuracy. (e.g., Processes agency placement costs, enters placement leaves, enters foster parent training, daycare payments etc.) 10% 3. Assists the Finance Director in budget planning and preparation; assists in the preparation of financial reporting for Federal, State, and Local funds; Assists the Finance Director with personnel-related functions, such as recordkeeping and assisting staff with County benefits. 10% 4. Serve as backup for administrative / clerical employees for various administrative support tasks (e.g., medical cards and SACWIS report processing; creation of vouchers; operation of switchboard; preparation of legal documentation etc.). Review and update physical inventory belonging to Agency (e.g., computers, printers, scanners, copiers, etc.)

5% 5. Assist employees with technology support / training (e.g., assist users with password resets; assist in troubleshooting issues with computers and software, printers, wifi, and other equipment; provide training for various programs; attend required trainings; etc.)

5% 6. Perform general accounting tasks (e.g., provide caseworkers with petty cash, credit card, gas cards, etc.; write receipts; disperse expense checks; attend required trainings; etc.) Meets job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.

Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
