As the Engineering Manager, you'll supervise the Public Works Engineering Division staff, oversee engineering design of building and site improvements and manage the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the City corporate map. You'll also evaluate and determine suitability of construction materials proposed for use in public improvement projects, meet with engineers, architects, developers, and contractors to discuss projects, ordinances and policies and serve as the supervising manager to offer recommendations to the department head on hiring, promotions and discipline.
