Under the supervision and guidance of the assigned manager/supervisor, the incumbent will serve as a highly trained support specialist in the various mortgage servicing departments. The incumbent will perform duties that vary in complexity and must be able to adapt to changing environments/departments. The incumbent will support the assigned areas in the absence of other associates, in heavy volumes, and as needed. The Mtg Servicing Support Specialist 2 must possess knowledge of a broad range of servicing functions to support the assigned areas effectively.

What You Will Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Actively cross-train in the mortgage servicing areas, staying current with mortgage servicing policies and procedures. Perform all duties in a manner that contributes to quality customer service.

Perform duties in mortgage servicing areas that require advanced knowledge, such as Escrow, Cashiering, Hazard Claims, Structured Loans, Foreclosure, and Bankruptcy. Duties may rotate daily, depending on customer/department needs.

Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for borrowers (or their designated agent) as established by company policy. Contact the borrower and clearly and effectively communicate the options available to them. Inform the borrower of the servicers evaluation of these options.

Complete special projects as assigned, such as policy and procedure certification or loss mitigation after a natural disaster.

Research error notices or customer requests for information. Follow up promptly with customers and work closely with other bank associates, prior mortgage companies, attorney firms, investors and insurers to obtain needed information.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to completing compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls; reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations; and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
