The Default Account Servicing Commercial Manager is responsible for the payment(s) collection of default commercial accounts. The manager will provide subject matter expertise in directing associates to collect payment(s) and recommend appropriate course of action on commercial loans in default and/or weaknesses in credit. The manager ensures that duties are performed in an accurate, prompt, and efficient manner in accordance with applicable banking laws, rules, regulations and bank policies. The incumbent will direct associates in relationship building with commercial account borrower(s), lenders and support associates. The Default Account Servicing Commercial Manager will formulate objectives, goals, strategies and plans to ensure the most effective and efficient workflow within the Default Account Servicing Commercial department.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Manage a team of commercial associates; provide direction on assigned functions; set goals for associates and ensure associates are trained on systems, tasks, etc.; provide performance appraisals and coaching (as needed) timely and provide input on compensation decisions; develop work plans and priorities for the area based on objectives received and ensure department is adequately staffed and communicate any schedule changes timely.

Responsible for the effective coordination and execution of default collections and an emphasis of focus on customer service on commercial loan products and its customers.

Ensure associates assess the impact of default loans and the importance of timely resolution and are able to implement solutions to mitigate negative outcomes.

Collaborate with AEF, SBA, SBU and AOF associates in the effective managing of past-due loans; provide recommendations on course of action to remediate past-dues.

Manage and oversee the loans eligible for extensions and due date changes to ensure all policies, processes and guidelines are followed.

Oversee the review of loans that require a change in loan classification and risk rating to ensure associates classify loans timely and within guidelines. Continually communicate with the lender of rating changes.

Monitor all communications and service levels via observation and/or call grading to confirm the performance of excellent and efficient customer service. Continually emphasize the importance of relationship building between the lending associates and the DAS Commercial associate.

Collaborate professionally with customer service teams, commercial lending staff, loan managers, commercial workout specialists, credit administrators, and compliance to provide maximum customer support and address process improvement opportunities.

Provide direction and assistance to associates as they work in-depth customer/guarantor skip-tracing to determine responsible party.

Ensure that loans with aggregate debt limits and multiple loan relationships are being serviced properly; provide guidance and direction to associates as issues arise.

Make recommendations based on the interpretation of policies. Monitors to ensure policies and operating practices set forth by senior management are followed consistently.

Provide the oversight and leadership necessary to accomplish work with understanding and alignment with peer unit leaders.

Provide input regarding budget items, such as staffing, equipment, training needs and resources. Ensure resources are in place and operating effectively.

Integrate internal and external resources to meet the needs of the business. Identify areas of risk and develops remediation strategies or escalates, as necessary.Ensures team members are aware of and aligned to Arvest goals and objectives.

Appropriately communicate with all stakeholders. Act as a liaison between the business units, project managers, and support teams.

Develop analytical techniques for analyzing informational needs for both functional and non-functional requirements.

Serve as a subject matter expert for various systems, provide product knowledge, and assist with internal and external customers as needed. Ensure customer needs are met satisfactorily.

Serve as the final point of escalation and resolve complex situations, questions, and complaints appropriately.

Participate in system maintenance changes and upgrades as required by the appropriate department(s).

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
