Job Description:

Work on water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance including planning,

process evaluations, detailed design, and construction administration.

Field work to include conducting site visits, sampling, analyzing data for water

quality, technology evaluations and plant operations information, process troubleshooting and

optimization, as well as condition assessments and overall performance evaluations of

water/wastewater/stormwater facilities.

Client facing work including preparation and conducting of effective presentations,

participation in client meetings, and field interaction with clients and subcontractors.

Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of

engineering alternatives.

Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:** A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or a related occupation.

**

Special Requirements:** Must have academic training or experience in the following:

AutoCAD software;

WaterGEMS software;

ArcGIS software;

Coordinating technical evaluations, technical report writing, and correspondence with the project team to complete work efficiently;

Performing equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, and vendor coordination for upsizing headworks;

Testing and maintaining equipment such as flowmeters, pressure and ultrasonic sensors, and groundwater and rainwater gauges; and

Conducting technical evaluations and providing technical support as part of a project team.

*Must have passed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam.

*Telecommuting is permitted anywhere in the U.S.
