Job Title: Construction/Commercial Plumber

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction/Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, plumbing codes, and working efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to plan and execute plumbing installations.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and HVAC systems.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality using pressure and leak detection equipment.
Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, minimizing downtime on job sites.
Supervise and mentor apprentices or helpers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or construction plumbing.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and safety protocols.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces or at heights.
Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
