Antonine Village is seeking to hire a Nurse's Aide to care for residents by assisting in activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:

Provides residents' personal hygiene by giving baths, showers, shaves, clothing and skin care.

Makes beds, arranges the residents' rooms, changes dirty linens, and provides new ones.

Assists residents in walking and transferring from one place to another, encouraging residents for daily exercise and mobility.

Ensures that residents are comfortable in bed, adjusting bed settings and/or repositioning/turning residents as needed.

Assists with serving meals, feeding residents as necessary, and providing fresh water and snacks between meals.

Maintains resident's overall stability by recording resident's intake and output on the designated form.

Observes residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

Answers residents' call lights and requests, reporting observations of the resident to the Nurse in charge.

Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Protects the Antonine Village's values by keeping residents' information confidential.

Serves and protects the Antonine Village facility by adhering to professional standards, the Assisted Living policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements.

Is willing to perform additional hours as needed and required by the Director of Nursing.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

Must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent

Must have at least 1 year of experience in gerontology

Must have a current CPR certificate

Must be endowed with good written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to work willingly and pleasantly with elderly and other staff members.

Must be able to pass: Physical, TB Test, Reference Check, and Background Check

Additional Details:

Hourly Wage: $14.00 - $16.00
