Help Wanted: Payroll Processor and Receptionist

Our extremely busy front office is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Payroll Processor and Receptionist to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple tasks with grace, and have a passion for precision and customer service we want to hear from you!

Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality

Experience processing payroll checks and payroll taxes

Ability to handle frequent interruptions while multitasking effectively

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Skilled in collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data

Ability to self-review for accuracy and follow established policies and procedures

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll information

Answer multi-line telephone and direct calls appropriately

Greet and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy

Monitor due dates for payroll, tax filings, and other time-sensitive tasks

Enter payroll items into payroll system

Verify timesheet accuracy and manage direct deposit and paper check distribution

Ensure timely and accurate completion of payroll tasks by responsible parties

Collaborate with other departments on payroll

Process specialty payroll transactions with precision

Review and post benefit account transactions (FSA, retirement, insurance, etc.)

Manage payroll tax administration and filings

Provide customer service and support to internal and external clients

Process tax returns and review them with customers

Make bank deposits and handle other general office duties
