American Wire Research Inc. seeks

Accountant to work in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania.

Work with the management and external auditors to ensure accounting procedures are compliant with GAAP and IRS regulations.

Develop financial reports and review the financial reports with the Sales Department heads to increase the sales margins.

Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies.

Collect, interpret, and review financial information.

Produce financial reports for headquarters. Review and monitor budget.

Maintain financial health of organization.

Correspond with other departments and review monthly revenue and cost schedules, journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations of all revenue and cost of revenue related accounts. Oversee inventory levels, performance metrics, and other relevant accounts data.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting or a closely related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in a related position.

Work experience or academic coursework must have included:

Experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation;

Experience in finance and inventory software and systems QAD & TIPTOP ERP systems;

Experience reviewing and solving inventory-related issues including stockouts, overstocking, and discrepancies;

Experience working with external tax auditors; knowledge of MS office software; and knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations.
