Where Your Career is a Force for Good! The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Summer Intern within the Training Services Department to support the Training Support Center. This is a remote position with limited travel. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Training Services Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain work experience in a non-profit organization. During the 10-week program, students receive training and develop their skills and knowledge under the guidance of experienced professionals. The 2025 Summer Internship program will run from May 28, 2025, through August 1, 2025. The Service Delivery Process Documentation Intern will review, organize, and enhance existing email templates to ensure consistency, clarity, and efficiency in communication with both internal and external customers. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

Complete an inventory of all available email templates and determine usage.

Develop and implement a standardized format for all email templates, ensuring uniformity and standardization in user access.

Establish methodology for ongoing upkeep of email templates.

Create directory of automated emails and method for updating.

Establish standard reports to identify usage and effectiveness of email templates.

Standard Schedule: Monday- Friday Standard business hours. The salary for this position is $20.00 an hour. This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education: High School or equivalent required. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours. Undergraduate Junior/Senior preferred with major in Library and Information Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or Data Science.

Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience

Skills & Abilities: Technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, data management, and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Ability to work on a team.

Travel: Ability to travel to attend in person meetings 10-20%. Must have valid driver's license. .

Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
