ENTRY LEVEL MACHINE OPERATOR---NIGHT SHIFT *

[for the extrusion department of a local, COVINGTON, OHIO, manufacturing company.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[The successful associate will be capable of learning to operate an extrusion machine to manufacture blown film. This includes machine setup and operation, performing quality checks, and packaging finished product.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

[ Follow work instructions to set-up extrusion line]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Gather items such as new cores, packaging materials, skids, etc. for daily production operation]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Unload finished rolls from machine using proper lifting equipment]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Weigh, record quality & production data and load onto skid]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Package finished rolls per customer specifications]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Maintain accurate production and quality control records.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Build & complete skid by banding, labeling and moving finished skids to shipping area]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Prep machine for next roll by setting up new cores for film transfer]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Complete timely quality control checks]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Assist in equipment or line adjustments]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Maintain an organized and clean work area]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Alert supervisor of any problems on the line]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ Other tasks as assigned]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS POSITION:

[ NIGHT shift is 5:45 pm to 6:00 am]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[ $17.10 hourly pay + $1.50 shift differential= $18.60/hour]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
