AR/AP Accounting

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team. This early career position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or both, along with basic inventory management skills. The role requires mid-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to take on diverse tasks across various departments to support our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments and invoicing.

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, and reconciling accounts.

Support basic inventory management tasks coordinating with relevant personnel.

Utilize mid-level Excel skills to create spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and generate reports to support financial and operational processes.

Take on non-related tasks in other areas as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial and operational activities.

Contribute to process improvements and assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or both.

Basic knowledge of inventory and office management principles and practices.

Mid-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data sorting, and basic formulas).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Willingness to learn and take on tasks outside of core accounting responsibilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field a plus but not required.
