Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join us as part of our financial team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, ensure timely payments, and handle billing inquiries. Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Auditing Support: Assist in internal audits and prepare documentation for external audits as required. Provide support in responding to audit queries and implementing audit recommendations.

QUICKBOOKS EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED / Desktop - Premier familiarity preferred.

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and other necessary documentation for review by management.

Data Entry and Analysis: Input, verify, and analyze financial data, helping to identify trends and discrepancies.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Problem Solving: Identify discrepancies in financial records and transactions. Work to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or auditing, preferably in a similar industry.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software QUICKBOOKS PREMIERE DESKTOP and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of integrity and professional ethics.

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
