Duties: Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreation facility. Sell and collect tickets/fees, assist patrons; erect, take down, operate/attend amusement booths and maintain equipment; rides and games; make change; sell and serve food. Provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides. Maintain inventories of equipment, storing/retrieving items and assembling/disassembling equipment as necessary. Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures. Prepare simple daily food items and beverages typical carnival foods such as cotton candy, candy apples, popcorn, funnel cakes, ice cream, milkshakes/sundaes, lemonade, sausage, French fries, hotdogs, hamburgers and various fountain drinks, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time. Using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, griddles, hot plates, poppers, soft serve machines. etc.

Minimum of 35 - 40 hrs./wk. extra hours may be required or available, may include weekends and holidays. Hours, schedule and days vary.

Pay varies based on location of each worksite, $12.84 - $17.78 an hour. No overtime is expected, but if work necessitating OT occurs, it will be paid in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws. Pay received weekly, single workweek used for computing wages.

No edu or exp required. Empl will make all deductions from wrkr's paycheck required by law. Empl's optional shared housing $120/wk. is available for wage credit &/or deduction, or any lesser amount to the max extent not prohibited by law. Empl will pay the cost of this housing to the extent such cost would reduce pay below the offered wage rate for the areas of intended employment.

Empl will provide wrkrs at no charge all tools, supplies,& equipment required to perform the job.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Wrkrs will be paid weekly on Fri. All deductions from the wrkrs paycheck required by law will be made. Empl will pay the cost of optional lodging from the extent such costs would reduce pay below the offered wage rate for the area of intended employment.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first wkweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, incl those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (incl meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to wrkrs reimbursed, if the wrkr completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the wrkr completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $16.28/day w/o receipts or up to $68/day w/ receipts. for approved cost of meals and lodging at the applicable exchange rate, not to exceed reasonable costs.
