General Laborer Starting Pay: $17 per hour Full-time position based in the San Luis Valley; limited travel required Immediately hiring

Position Summary: Alcon Construction is looking for candidates eager to learn construction and make an impact building our communities! This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to learn and develop their skills in concrete or with metal building erection. You'll be an integral part of our team, work alongside skilled crew members and gain hands-on experience.

Objectives and Competencies: This position requires physical labor and typically works outside on construction sites. You should be punctual, reliable, driven, and excited to be a part of a hard-working team. Candidates should care about the work they perform and enjoy working on a project they can take ownership of from start to finish. We are looking for team players that match our culture and core values and want to grow their career with us.

Education and Experience: Basic knowledge or interest in construction is preferred; prior experience in concrete or metal building erection is a plus but not required. Training is available for motivated and reliable individuals without experience. You should have your own basic construction tools.

Physical Requirements: You must be able to work on your feet for extended periods in all forms of weather. This position requires the ability to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and exert heavy physical effort. You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. regularly. The work environment is typically outside and may require work in confined spaces.
