Advantive is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to lead a high-performing development team responsible for our market-leading SaaS platform for specialty manufacturers and distributors. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving quality, innovation, and alignment with Advantive's values across our Israel-based engineering team.

As the most senior technical leader in-region, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring technical excellence, maintaining product stability, and fostering a strong connection between our global teams.This is an opportunity to lead with vision and empathy - ensuring our developers are supported, challenged, and empowered to deliver exceptional software that scales.

Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a distributed team of engineers through coaching, feedback, and accountability.

Partner closely with Product Management, QA, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality features and performance improvements in our SaaS products.

Drive technical strategy, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement across development, testing, and deployment processes.

Ensure system performance and platform stability, particularly for our iPaaS and Android applications.

Champion modern software development practices, including Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps excellence.

Lead efforts to resolve product performance and scalability, collaborating with teams across AWS-based environments.

Model clear, transparent communication and "extreme ownership" in every initiative - from technical outcomes to team culture.

Actively engage in architectural reviews, code-level design decisions, and technical deep dives to guide teams toward scalable and maintainable solutions.

Partner with other Senior Development Managers across Advantive to share best practices, align on architecture standards, and promote consistent engineering excellence across all product lines.

Own delivery commitments, quality metrics, and release cadence to ensure predictable execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of software development experience

3+ years in a leadership or management role

Proven ability to manage complex SaaS development environments, including cross-functional collaboration and global teams.

Expertise in object-oriented programming using C#, Java, or Node.js, with working knowledge of C++ preferred.

Experience in CI/CD environments using Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

Strong understanding of cloud-based development (AWS preferred).

Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and quality assurance practices.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and influence both locally and globally.

Demonstrated experience driving team performance, technical excellence, and accountability in fast-paced environments.

Familiarity with B2B SaaS or enterprise software solutions - especially for complex, global customer bases.
