Advantage Security is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist for a family owned and operated security company based in Aurora, CO. Details About this Position:

Approximately 24 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Flexible hours/days.

Hourly compensation is between $25 -$27 depending on experience.

Healthcare/dental/vision plans (available within 60 days of employment) and a 401(k) program. Eligibility dependent on number of hours worked per week.

Essential duties for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist:

Process vendor invoices to include sorting, auditing, coding, filing, uploading and issuing payments

Track expenses and process expense reports

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

Perform daily deposits and reconcile accounts receivable

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues including corresponding with vendors

Performs internal audits of various departments to assist in compliance

Develops or participates in preparation and completion of special projects

Desired skills for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist:

Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and behaviors conducive to a service/team-oriented environment (e.g., diplomacy, tact, flexibility, positive approach)

Planning skills to be self-directing and to work with a minimum of supervision

Ability to handle high volume, potentially confidential and complex administrative work

Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures

Attention to detail and accuracy

Information management and problem-solving skills

Basic Minimum Requirements:

21 years of age

High school diploma or GED required - Associates or Bachelors- degree preferred

1-3 years general accounting experience, as well as administrative

US citizenship or possess the right to work permit

Ability to pass a drug screen test and background check to include THC

Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English

Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
