Network Security Engineer

Advantage Federal Credit Union is a member focused, community based financial institution serving the Greater Rochester area. With approximately 100 employees, we pride ourselves on delivering secure, reliable financial services while maintaining a collaborative work culture.

Position Summary

Advantage Federal Credit Union is seeking a skilled NetworkSecurity Engineer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for developing security baselines, implementing best practices and maintaining compliance and security standards. The role involves vulnerability management, incident response, and Microsoft 365 administration. In addition, this role expects the ideal candidate to be able to assess; report; and remediate threats as well as develop solutions to bolster the security posture of Advantage Federal Credit Union while maintaining current infrastructure. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,0000.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

8-10 years of similar or related experience.

A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree plus professional certification preferred.

Experience in Managing enterprise firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and content filtering.

Experience in Microsoft Ecosystem Management: Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory/GPO, and Microsoft 365.

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
