Job Title: Skilled Remodel Construction Technician (Plumbing and HVAC Experience Required) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $13.00-$15.00/HR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Remodel Construction Technician with hands-on experience across all phases of residential and light commercial remodeling. This role requires solid expertise in general construction, plumbing, and HVAC systems, along with working knowledge of drywall, tape and float, painting, light electrical, light plumbing, siding, windows, flooring, tile, framing, roofing, and cement work.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of residential and light commercial remodeling including framing, drywall installation and finishing (tape/float), interior/exterior painting, flooring (tile, wood, vinyl, etc.), finish carpentry, and window/door installation.

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, and water heaters in compliance with local codes.

Install, service, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, and thermostats.

Perform light electrical work, including fixture installation, outlet/switch replacement, and minor wiring tasks.

Carry out light plumbing work such as faucet replacement, drain clearing, and basic water line repairs.

Assist in the installation and repair of roofing, siding, cement slabs, walkways, and structural elements as needed.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.

Ensure all work meets applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Work alongside project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to keep projects on time and within scope.

Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and tasks performed.

Respond to emergency maintenance or repair calls as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in construction with a strong background in remodeling, plumbing, and HVAC.

Proficiency in general construction tasks, including drywall, tape/float, painting, flooring, tile setting, framing, roofing, cement work, and finish carpentry.

Experience with window and siding installation.

Valid plumbing and/or HVAC certification/license (as required by local jurisdiction).

Familiarity with local building codes, OSHA standards, and industry best practices.

Skilled in using a wide range of power and hand tools.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
