The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support within the Strongsville location.

Hours: 8am - 4pm

Compensation: $18 - $20/hr + bonus eligible

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Requirements:

Assists with one or more of the following:

Creates and maintains department/locations documents, files, and records. Release orders for production. Runs reports. Courteously answers and routes phone calls. Greets and directs visitors (vendors, sales calls, customers, employees). Prepares, processes, receives, sorts, and distributes mail and packages. Schedules and coordinates meetings and/or events. Orders office supplies and works with IT to ensure office equipment is functioning properly. Processes invoices. Collaborates with employees in various departments to respond to employee, leader, and/or customer needs. Drafts and maintains standard operating procedures and instructions.* Assists with special projects as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

PC skills

Ability to multi-task

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access experience is a plus

Previous administrative experience is a plus

Knowledge of Microsoft D365

Experience in steel warehousing and distribution is helpful
